"Our revenues in the oil and gas sector will decrease by AZN 750 million," Azerbaijan's Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov said during a discussion on the "State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025" draft law at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy, Industries, and Enterprising, APA reports.
The Minister stated that the decrease in revenues is related to the depletion of oil fields: "Because they have been exploited for years. In this regard, the government is taking steps. Positive changes are occurring in the non-oil sector. We have AZN 960 million inflows from the non-oil sector."
