Azerbaijan's Finance Minister: President raises issue of salary increase before government

"The issue that the president has put in front of the government is related to salary increase," Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said during the discussion of the draft law "On the 2025 state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan" at today's meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Parliament, APA reports.

The minister said that the government was instructed to increase salaries and social payments: "This is also reflected in the draft budget."
