The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will announce its interest rate decision for the first time tomorrow, 2025, APA-Economics reports citing CBA.
The Central Bank noted that the next decisions on the parameters of the interest rate corridor will depend on the dynamics of actual and forecasted inflation, external and internal risk factors.
Considering that actual inflation is within the target range (4%±2), the CBA is expected to keep the interest rate stable again.
Note that on January 17, the international rating agency Fitch Ratings predicted that the CBA will not make additional rate cuts, given the risk of external uncertainty, increases in managed prices, and domestic demand pressures from household and government consumption.
