The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has revoked the license of an investment company, CBA told APA-Economics.
The Bank noted that, in accordance with the decision of the CBA's Management Board dated December 12, 2024, the license of Plato Capital and Co. Investment Company Open Joint Stock Company was revoked due to non-compliance with mandatory instructions issued by the Central Bank to address violations in its activities, as stipulated in Article 70.1.6 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "on the Securities Market."
Under Article 70.3 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "on the Securities Market," the investment company whose license has been revoked will be liquidated per the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
