Average monthly nominal salary increases by nearly 8% in Azerbaijan

In January–October 2024, the average monthly nominal salary of salaried employees in the country's economy increased by 7.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 993.2 AZN, the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

The Committee noted that the average monthly nominal salary was higher in sectors such as the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, professional, scientific, and technical activities, information and communication, as well as transportation and storage.
