A volume of electronic-commerce (e-commerce) in Azerbaijan has increased by 5 times over the past 3 years (2018-2020), said Country Manager of Mastercard in Azerbaijan, Erdem Cakar at the conference dedicated to the activity of the company over the past one year, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, this figure rose from 0,6 bln manta to 3,7 bln manta during the noted period: “More growth is expected in this field in the coming years. Thus, people who do not use e-commerce before, will prefer to electronic shopping”.
