"To ensure a great return to the territories liberated from the occupation next year, 2.2 billion manats will be allocated from the state budget," Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said this at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, held in connection with the 2021 budget package, APA reports.
The Minister noted that at the same time, it is envisaged to allocate rather large funds for the further improvement of the Armed Forces: "In general, defense spending is 4.6 billion manats. Due to the martial law, the draft budget is discussed in parliament on different dates. I thank the deputies for the fact that they have created conditions for discussing the submitted project, given the tight schedule."
