In January of this year, volume of trade turnover of Azerbaijan with CIS countries has decreased by 1% in comparison with the same period of the previous year and amounted to USD 325,354 mln., according to calculations of APA-Economics on the basis of report of the State Customs Committee.
Volume of export during the period increased by USD 25,437 or 18.3% in comparison with analogical period of the previous year amounted to USD 164,215 mln., while import decreasing by USD 28,807 or by 15.2% amounted to USD 161,139 mln.
As a result, a trade balance of USD 1,076 mln. has appeared in the reporting period. Note that trade balance was negative in January of 2019 and was USD 51,168 mln.
