“Regular monitorings have been conducted in order to prevent reduction of workers in the private sector,” said Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev at today’s discussion of Committee of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship regarding a budget package for 2021, APA reports.
Minister noted that although 80% of those, working in public bodies did not go to work, their salaries have been paid during pandemic: “Number of legalized labor contracts has increased by 12%”.
