Import of machines, equipment and devices has been exempted from the value-added tax ( VAT) for 3 years from January 1, 2021, on the basis of the approval document of the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority for the purpose of production and processing of jewelry made of gold and silver, according to the amendment to THE Tax Code approved by the decree signed by the President today, APA reports.
As well as, sale of gold and silver in the form of ingots, coins, or pellets has been exempted from VAT.
