The number of goods exempted from excise duty imported in Azerbaijan is being decreased, according to the amendment proposed to Tax code, APA reports.
According to the current Tax Code, the import of 1.5 liters of alcoholic beverage for individual consumption of physical person, 20 grams gold, jewelry and other household products made of it, processed, graded, framed and tightened 0.5-carat diamonds, as well as fuel in the tank provided by the technical passport of the car for those who came to the Republic of Azerbaijan with cars, are exempt from the excise.
According to the draft, import of 20 grams of gold, jewelry, and other household things, made of it, processed, sorted, framed and fastened 0.5 Carats of a diamond are removed from the list.
