75% of journalists' incomes in Azerbaijan will be exempt from income tax without any conditions applied, this was reflected in the amendments to the Tax Code approved by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

Under the Law, individuals engaged in journalistic activities and earning up to 45,000 AZN per calendar year from such activities (excluding expenses) will have 75% of their income exempt from income tax.

The Law will take effect on January 1, 2025.
