Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office issues summonses for interrogation of Medvedev, Shoigu and other Russian civil servants

Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has issued summonses to Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, according to UCP website, APA reports.

Thus, on May 16, 17, and 18, Medvedev was summoned to the UCP prosecutor’s office to participate in the investigation as a suspect in the criminal offense of trespassing on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.

Shoigu is summoned for questioning on suspicion on the same dates. It is noted that he is a suspect for the commission of the same criminal offense.

The UCP website also published reports of suspicions and summonses for interrogations by Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, President of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, Director of the Federal Security Service of Russia Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the National Guard of Russia Victor Zolotov.
