Over eight days of the war, the losses of the Russian army exceeded 10,000 in killed and wounded. The Armed Forces of Ukraine killed at least one Russian general, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
"Over eight days, the losses of the Russian army exceeded 10,000 in killed and wounded. The elimination of at least one Russian general has been confirmed. Russian society starts to feel and realize these losses," Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov posted on Facebook.
According to him, the destroyed Russian armored vehicles are measured not in units but battalions and brigades. Ukraine’s Armed Forces have gained more tanks and armored vehicles as trophies than the Ukrainian military-industrial complex has received over past eight years.
As noted, Ukrainian defenders seized several vehicles with MLRS shells with which Russian war criminals are shelling our peaceful cities. All these shells will be "returned" to the enemy.
"We are also suffering losses. War is a great grief. Almost every hour there are reports that the Russian occupiers have killed civilians again. Blood boils with rage when our children die… There are casualties among our soldiers. They fight like cyborgs but they have living hearts in their chests. Each of them will be honored as a hero," Reznikov emphasized.
