Azerbaijan pays special attention not only to punitive measures in the fight against corruption but also to its prevention, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said during his speech at the third high-level meeting of the heads of anti-corruption agencies of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), APA reports.
He noted that another important direction of anti-corruption policy is cooperation and the exchange of experience with international partners:
"Because we must unite our efforts to combat this social evil. I am confident that the discussions to be held within the framework of the conference will provide an opportunity to once again review and update our responsibilities in the global fight against corruption."
