Alongside ensuring girls' access to education, it is also important that they are able to apply the knowledge they acquire in the labor market and entrepreneurial activities, Aydan Ramazanova, representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, said during her speech at the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue held in Baku, APA reports.

"Ensuring that girls remain in school does not only mean providing them with access to classrooms. It is also important that schools create a favorable environment, families understand the importance of girls' education, and girls see the connection between their knowledge and their independent futures," Ramazanova emphasized.

According to her, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation supports schools and educational infrastructure in various countries as part of its international initiatives. Inclusive education holds a special place in the Foundation's activities. In this regard, projects are being implemented to expand access to education for people with physical disabilities and improve teachers' skills in working with students with diverse educational needs.

Aydan Ramazanova cited education and social support projects in Burkina Faso, as well as initiatives aimed at expanding the social and economic opportunities of women affected by conflict in Niger, as examples.

Aydan Ramazanova emphasized that education, vocational skills, and real opportunities must be interconnected. According to her, providing access to education alone is not sufficient for women's development; a supportive environment must also be created where they can apply their knowledge and skills.
