AZCON Holding CEO Shahin Babayev held a meeting with a delegation led by Wang Xiaolin, Chairman of China's CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive company, who is visiting Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The current state and prospects for the development of cooperation in the transport sector between AZCON Holding and the Chinese side were discussed.
During the meeting, the signing of a contract with Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) for the supply of four electric passenger trains was assessed as an important milestone in cooperation, and it was emphasized that the results achieved create new opportunities for future partnership.
The parties considered possible cooperation in the development of Azerbaijan's transport and logistics infrastructure, expansion of the railway network, as well as tram and other urban mobility projects.
The meeting also provided information on AZCON Holding's management approach, projects planned for implementation in the transport sector, and Azerbaijan's priorities for strengthening regional transport connections.
