It’s unknown how Armenia will pay back the military contracts with France which is worth several hundred million euros, the French publication Le Monde said, APA reports.

“Those are not arms supplies, same as in military aid to Ukraine, those are contracts that their amount can reach several hundred million euros. But it’s still unknown how will Yerevan pay back them,” the publication noted.

It should be recalled that a few days ago, the Minister of Defense of Armenia visited France and signed several documents on military cooperation between the two countries with his French counterpart. French Defense Minister Lecornu announced the programs and areas in which the parties have started or intend to start cooperation.

Lekornu announced that three GM200 radars will be supplied to Armenia and that a memorandum of understanding has been signed on the future supply of "Mistral" air defense systems. The French side also intends to conduct an audit of Armenia's surface air defense system.
