This is reflected in the amendment to the Tax Code, on the implementation of which President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree.
According to the decree, within three months, the Cabinet of Ministers, in coordination with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and taking into account the proposals of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, must develop the scope and areas of operating expenses incurred through non-cash payments for scientific research, design and exploration, and experimental design work within the framework of developing an innovative product (excluding the acquisition of fixed assets and intangible assets), as well as the procedure and rules for confirming the results of technological and industrial failures.
