Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Olha Stefanishyna has been released on bail of 6 million hryvnias ($144,000), Suspilne reports.
According to the court's ruling, Stefanishyna must appear before investigators upon summons from Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), notify authorities if she changes her place of residence, and refrain from communicating with witnesses in the case.
Olha Stefanishyna is suspected of illicit enrichment and submitting false information in her asset declaration.
According to investigators, she failed to declare two apartments in Kyiv, renovation expenses for those apartments, rent payments for a leased apartment, the use of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, as well as payments for airline tickets and her mother's medical treatment in her income declaration.
