In November of this year, the average price of 1 barrel of “Brent” benchmark oil on world markets amounted to 63.6 US dollars, which is 1.7% less compared to the indicator of last December (64.7 dollars), APA-Economics reports, citing the World Bank’s monthly commodity price report.
According to the report, in the first quarter of this year, the average price of 1 barrel of “Brent” benchmark oil on world markets was 75.6 dollars, in the second quarter – 67.8 dollars, and in the third quarter – 69 US dollars.
The Bank recalled that the average price of “Brent” oil in 2024 was at the level of 80.7 dollars, which is 2.3% less compared to the indicator of 2023 (82.6 dollars).
According to the information, in November of this year the average price of 1 barrel of WTI (West Texas Intermediate) benchmark oil amounted to 59.6 US dollars, which is 1% less compared to the previous month’s indicator (60.2 dollars).
It was noted that in the first quarter of this year, the average price of 1 barrel of WTI oil on world markets was 71.4 dollars, in the second quarter – 63.9 dollars, and in the third quarter – 65 US dollars.
It was reported that last year the average price of WTI benchmark oil amounted to 75.8 dollars, which is 2.4% less compared to the indicator of the previous year (77.7 dollars).
