Last year, 206,434 thousand barrels of oil were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline via Turkish territory, which is 7.9% less in an annual comparison, APA-Economics reports, citing Türkiye’s pipeline operator, BOTAŞ.
According to the information, in 2024, 224,142 thousand barrels of oil were transported via BTC through Turkish territory, representing a 2.04% year-on-year decrease.
Note that last year, 224,142 thousand barrels of oil were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline via Turkish territory, which is 2% less compared to 2022.
Recall that the BTC pipeline imports oil produced from Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) fields. In addition, oil from other producers is also sent through the pipeline to Turkish territory.
