"To date, approximately 60 billion cubic meters of associated gas produced from the "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" (ACG) block have been transferred to the state free of charge," BP’s Vice President for the Caspian Region, Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, said in his speech at the 3rd Industrial Safety Summit, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, during BP’s operations in Azerbaijan, 4.5 billion barrels of oil have been produced within the ACG project operated by BP.
Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli also noted that to date, 257 billion cubic meters of gas have been produced under the “Shah Deniz” gas-condensate project.
The Vice President emphasized that BP has been operating in Azerbaijan for 33 years and carries out its activities in the country safely.
