Utilities output in Azerbaijan rises slightly in January–November as water sector grows

In January-November of this year, in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector in Azerbaijan, products worth 3,095 million manats were produced and services were provided, which is 0.9% more than the year before, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the information, the volume of products produced in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector in the country during the reporting period amounted to 597.5 million manats, which is an increase of 3.3% compared to the corresponding period in 2024.

It should be noted that last year, in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector in Azerbaijan, products worth 3,137.3 million manats were produced and services were provided, a decrease of 1.7% compared to the indicator of 2023.

Last year, the volume of products produced in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector in the country during the reporting period amounted to 628.4 million manats. manat, which is 2.7% more than the previous year.
