A Memorandum of Understanding on fuel supply to Damascus Airport has been signed between SOCAR and “UCC Holding,” SOCAR told APA-Economics.
According to the document, the companies plan to establish a joint venture that will carry out the supply of aviation fuel to Damascus Airport and provide the necessary infrastructure. SOCAR’s role in the joint venture will be to provide technical support for fuel supply operations and ensure the supply of aviation fuel.
It should be noted that on September 6 of the current year, Memoranda of Understanding on long-term cooperation in Syria and international energy markets were signed between SOCAR and “UCC Holding.”
