Production of chemical industry products increased by nearly 9% in Azerbaijan - TABLE

From January to November of this year, products worth 2,076.3 million manat were produced in Azerbaijan in the chemical industry, pharmaceutical products, and rubber and plastic goods sectors, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the information, during the reporting period, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the production of pharmaceutical products increased by 94.9%, the production of rubber and plastic goods increased by 13.7%, and the production of chemical industry products increased by 8.7%.

It is reported that among chemical industry products, polyethylene production increased by 13.2%, ethylene production by 12.1%; among rubber and plastic goods, except for polyethylene, the production of other plastic bags and pouches increased by 95.2%, the production of plastic rods, shafts, and profiles increased by 26.6%, and the production of plastic bottles, flasks, and similar items increased by 24%.
