"Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the fields of industry and technology has risen to a qualitatively new stage in recent years," said Prime Minister Ali Asadov at the 2nd Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that the document to be signed today, regarding the purchase and sale of an 870 MW power plant operating in Türkiye, serves as proof of this cooperation.
“The steps taken toward mutual exchange of experience, development of human capital, and application of modern technologies serve to strengthen our industrial potential. Within this framework, the transfer of knowledge and skills related to the application of advanced technologies in manufacturing sectors—particularly metal processing, machine building, and other core industrial areas—is being carried out. I would also like to especially highlight the defense industry. In Azerbaijan, this sector has been developing at a high pace recently. Effective cooperation has been established with Türkiye in this regard,” the Prime Minister said.
