Nearly 145 bcm gas exported from Shah Deniz so far

About 418,7 billion cubic meters of gas was produced from the “Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli” and “Shah Deniz” fields since their commissioning till November 1, 2023, the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.

During the said period, 214,1 bln. cubic meter of gas from "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" and 204,6 bln. cubic meter of gas from Shah Deniz was produced.

“During this period 144,8 billion cubic meters of gas produced from Shah Deniz field was transported to exportation,” the information reads.

Note that according to operational data for January-October of 2023, 40,1 bln. cubic meters of natural gas was produced in Azerbaijan within 10 months. 10,7 billion cubic meters of the gas was from ACG, 21,8 bln. cubic meters from "Shah Deniz", 0,5 bcm from Absheron, and 7,1 bcm were produced by SOCAR.

Compared to the corresponding period of last year, gas was produced with an increase of 4,2%, i.e., 1,6 billion cubic meters. During the reporting period, gas sales abroad amounted to 19,8 bln. cubic meters, which is 8,2% more than the corresponding period of last year.

In January-October of the current year, 8,1 bln. cubic meters to Türkiye, 9,8 bln. cubic meters to Europe and 1,9 billion of gas was sold to Georgia. It should be noted that 4,7 bln. cubic meters of gas were transported to Türkiye with TANAP during this period," the information states.
