Large-scale construction work is being carried out in Karabakh and East Zangezur, Charles Veley, a traveler from California, said during a visit to Karabakh, APA reports.
He noted that he has been organizing tours to the region for the past six years and has witnessed major development there during this period.
The traveler emphasized that the new road has significantly shortened travel time. According to him, while it previously took several hours to reach the area from Khojavand, this time the journey took only 10 minutes.
The American traveler said that large-scale construction work is being carried out toward the Zangezur corridor. He noted that he would like to see the project fully completed: “All of this is an indication of the major construction work Azerbaijan is carrying out in this area. Large-scale construction work is also underway toward the project called the Zangezur corridor or TRIPP. It would be very interesting for me to see this project fully completed.”
