At the close of trading yesterday, the price of natural gas in Europe exceeded 325 US dollars per 1,000 cubic meters, APA-Economics reports.
On December 11, the price of January futures under the TTF index (the Netherlands’ Title Transfer Facility, Europe’s most liquid virtual trading hub) amounted to 327 dollars, which is 2.1% higher compared to the previous settlement price (320.2 dollars).
Note that since December 31, 2020, the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has begun.
