In November of this year, the average cash market price of natural gas in Europe, according to the TTF (Title Transfer Facility of the Netherlands, the most liquid virtual sales center in Europe) index, was 10.35 US dollars per 1 million BTU (British thermal unit), APA-Economics reports, citing the report of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
Thus, last month, the price of gas in Europe decreased by 5% compared to the month and by 25% compared to the year.
The report states that in November, the average daily price of gas in Europe fell to 9.77 dollars, which is the lowest indicator since May 2024.
Note that the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) began on December 31, 2020.
