In 2023, approximately USD 504 mln. operating costs and USD 1 bln. 518 mln. capital costs were spent on the activities of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oil-gas fields block, APA-Economics reports citing the report dedicated to the results of 2023 on the activities of the BP company in Azerbaijan.

According to the report, in 2023, stable production in ACG continued safely and reliably. Total production from ACG for 2023 combined from "Chirag" (23,000), "Central Azeri" (96,000), "Western Azeri" (86,000), "Eastern Azeri" (58,000), "Derinsulu Guneshli" (67,000 ) and "Western Chirag" (33,000) platforms together - avaraged 363.000 per day or in general mln. 133 million barrels, which was 18 million tons.

"Last year on December 12, ACG celebrated the achievement of the 1 billionth barrel oil production from the "West Azeri" platform, the report says.

According to the information, at the end of the year 137 oil wells, 45 water infection wells and 8 gas injection wells were in operation in ACG .

During the year 8 oil production, 6 water infection and 1 gas injection was completed in ACG.
