It is expected that 27.1 billion cubic meters of gas will be produced this year from the "Shahdeniz" gas-condensate field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the information in this regard was presented by SOCAR at the Caspian Oil&Gas oil and gas exhibition within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, APA-Economics reports.
According to the information, it is expected that 4.1 million tons of condensate will be produced during the reporting period.
It was noted that from the commissioning of the field until 01.05.2024, 218.3 billion cubic meters of gas and 45.9 million cubic meters of gas condensate were produced here.
“155.2 billion cubic meters of produced gas was exported,” – was noted in the information.
On June 4, 1996, the Production Sharing Agreement on the Shah Deniz field was signed. The filed was commissioned in 2006.
