From January to November this year, the total value of production in Azerbaijan’s mining industry amounted to 34,821.8 billion manats, representing a 2.3% decrease compared to the same period last year, APA-Economics reports, citing the monthly report of the State Statistical Committee.
Based on the report, out of the mentioned total indicator, 31,612.8 million manat accounted for crude oil and natural gas production, which is 2.4% less in an annual comparison.

According to the data, during the reporting period, the production of commercial crude oil, the main product of the sector, amounted to 25,266.2 thousand tons, while commercial natural gas production reached 35,507.8 million cubic meters.
It is noted that commercial crude oil production decreased by 4.7% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, whereas commercial gas production increased by 1.1%.
