Last year, the total value of production in Azerbaijan’s mining industry amounted to 37,618.4 billion manats, which is a 2.5% decrease compared to the previous year, APA-Economics reports, citing the monthly report of the State Statistical Committee.
According to the report, of this total figure, 34,003 million manats accounted for crude oil and natural gas production, which represents a 2.6% decline year-on-year.

According to the information, during the reporting period, the production of marketable oil, the sector’s main product, amounted to 27,616.1 thousand tons, while the production of marketable natural gas totaled 38,881.7 million cubic meters.
It is noted that marketable oil production decreased by 4.8% compared to the previous year’s figure, while marketable gas production increased by 0.7%.
