At the end of November this year, as a result of an attack by an unmanned device on a mobile mooring bridge located in the waters of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) Black Sea Terminal, Kazakhstan's oil production losses amounted to 480 thousand tons, said Kazakhstan's Energy Minister Erlan Akkenzhenov, APA-Economics reports, citing TASS.

According to him, despite the incident, the general production plan for 2025 will be implemented.

The minister also noted that the unit was seriously damaged as a result of the attack.

"The consortium is engaged in restoring its buoyancy, and after its buoyancy is restored, it will become clear whether the unit is suitable for restoration or not," Erlan Akkenzhenov emphasized.

Note that, according to the information released by the CPC consortium on November 29, as a result of a targeted terrorist attack carried out by unmanned boats in the waters of the CPC Marine Terminal, the VPU-2 berth was seriously damaged.

According to the information, in accordance with the instructions given by the captain of the Novorossiysk seaport, loading and other operations were suspended, and tankers were moved out of the CPC waters. There were no injuries among CPC employees and contractors.
