Kazakhstan’s oil supplies via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline are expected to increase by approximately 23%, APA-Economics reports, citing official information from Kazakhstan’s national company KazMunayGas.
Shipments from Aktau in the BTC direction are showing growing dynamics as part of Kazakhstan’s strategy to diversify its oil exports. Based on the results of 2025, 1.3 million tons of Kazakh oil were transported via this route.
In 2026, the volume of Kazakh oil transported through the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan main export pipeline is expected to increase to up to 1.6 million tons, which represents an annual increase of approximately 23%.
