The International Energy Agency (IEA) has raised its forecast for the average daily global oil demand growth rate for 2025–2026, APA-Economics reports, citing the monthly report of the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Global daily oil demand is expected to increase by 835,000 barrels in 2025, which is 47,000 barrels more than the previous forecast (788,000 barrels).
At the same time, the Agency has also revised its 2026 forecast upward by 93,000 barrels, projecting demand growth of 863,000 barrels.
According to the IEA, average daily global oil demand will amount to 103.923 million barrels in 2025 and 104.785 million barrels in 2026.
