In 2025, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this sector produced industrial output worth 63.1 billion manats, or 1 percent less industrial output compared to 2024, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
Output in the oil and gas sector decreased by 2.0 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 5.5 percent.
The data shows that 59.6 percent of industrial output was produced in the mining sector, 33.9 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5.5 percent in the electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sector, and 1.0 percent in the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector.
“The production of marketable oil in the mining sector decreased by 4.8 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 0.7 percent,” the information notes.
