Imports of AI-95 gasoline to Azerbaijan increased by more than 88%

During January-September 2025, Azerbaijan imported 105,308.9 tons of AI-95 grade automobile gasoline worth USD 89.731 million, APA-Economics reports, citing calculations based on the report of the State Statistical Committee.

This figure increased by 88.8% or 49.5 thousand tons in volume and by 66.9% or USD 36.9 million in value compared to the corresponding period last year.

During the reporting period, AI-95 grade automobile gasoline was imported into the country from Russia (69.4 thousand tons), Belarus (12 thousand tons), Romania (11.7 thousand tons), the United Arab Emirates (9.3 thousand tons), Georgia (1.5 thousand tons), and Bulgaria (1.4 tons).

At the same time, during this period, 1,777 tons of AI-95 grade automobile gasoline worth USD 2.178 million were imported into the country.

Recall that from January to September this year, 1.081 million tons of automobile gasoline were produced in Azerbaijan.
