IEA lowers expectations for global oil supply

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has reduced its forecast for the growth rate of average daily global oil supply for this year, APA-Economics reports this, citing the monthly report of the International Energy Agency.

According to the forecast, the average daily global oil supply this year has increased by 3 million barrels, which is 100 thousand barrels less than the previous forecast.

The report notes that the growth rate of daily global oil supply in 2026 is expected to be 2.4 million barrels (previous forecast: 2.5 million barrels).

Thus, according to the Agency, in 2025 the average daily global oil supply will be 106.2 million barrels, and in 2026 it will be 108.6 million barrels.
