"Hungary can not agree with sanctions imposed on Russian gas, because the country greatly needs it," said Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto while his speech at Baku Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, 85% of the gas, entering the country, falls to the share of Russian gas.
"It does not mean that it is our exceptional choice. It is related to physical terms, infrastructure, as well as our location. We approach the issue pragmatically. That is why we speak about use of the Caspian gas in Hungary's country balance. We want Caspian gas to become a reality in central Europe. But serious investments are needed to realize it," added Peter Szijjarto
