Last year, 40,235.6 million cubic meters of gas were transported through main gas pipelines in Azerbaijan, and a 0.3% decrease compared to the previous year was observed, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
57.5% of gas transportation was carried out via the Baku–Tbilisi–Erzurum South Caucasus Pipeline.
Gas produced at the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field is exported through this pipeline.
Thus, during the reporting period, 23,143.9 million cubic meters of gas were transmitted through this pipeline, reflecting a 1.3% increase.
