Anglo Asian Mining (AAM), a gold, copper and silver mining company in Azerbaijan, has started selling copper concentrate produced at its new Damirli mine, the company told APA-Economics.

It was noted that the contract for the sale of the concentrate was signed with Trafigura Pte Ltd on November 3, 2025. Within the framework of the contract, 2,055 tons of copper concentrate were delivered to Trafigura between November 17 and 30. The concentrate contained 351 tons of copper. The preliminary (provisional) total sales revenue amounted to 3.6 million US dollars. The share of the Azerbaijani government in the mentioned amount was not taken into account.

Anglo Asian also reported that record production volumes were achieved at the Damirli mine in November. A total of 1.95 million tons of rock were mined during the month. Of this, 195 thousand tons were high-quality ore, 269 thousand tons were oxide ore, and the rest was rock material used to strengthen the warehouses.

In addition, on November 27, the highest daily figure in the company's history was achieved with the extraction of 81 thousand tons of rock in one day.

Note that AAM began development of 6 fields under the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) signed on August 21, 1997. According to the agreement, Azerbaijan's share is 51%, and Anglo Asian Mining PLC's share is 49%. Currently, the company has the right to operate in 8 contract areas in Azerbaijan. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is one of the largest non-oil industrial exporters in the country.
