A joint meeting of the Economic Council and the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding was held today, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov — who also heads the Economic Council and the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) — included a presentation on SOCAR’s sustainable operations, as well as detailed discussions on projects implemented by SOCAR and their development prospects, sources of financing for project implementation, the company's debt portfolio, and other current issues.
SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf delivered a presentation on the agenda items. The meeting also featured speeches by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) Israfil Mammadov, and Chief Executive Officer of AIH Ruslan Alikhanov.
Members of the Economic Council and AIH’s Supervisory Board held discussions on the presented matters. At the end of the meeting, relevant instructions were issued to SOCAR and SOFAZ, taking into account the opinions and proposals of the Council members.
