A Memorandum of Understanding on the construction of a 100 MW solar power plant and the production, sale, and consumption of electricity was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Nobel Energy Company, APA-Economics reports.
The document was signed on the sidelines of the 10th Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting and the 2nd Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting.
According to the document, it is planned to build a solar power plant with a total volume of 100 MW, 50 MW at the initial stage, and 50 MW at the next stage.
