Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Uzbekistan more than doubled

In January–October of this year, trade operations worth 472 million 548 thousand US dollars were carried out between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Customs Committee.

According to the information, this is 2.4 times more compared to the same period last year.

In 10 months, trade turnover with Uzbekistan accounted for 2.42% of Azerbaijan’s total trade turnover.

During the period, products worth 60 million 988 thousand US dollars were exported from Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan. This is 93.9% more in annual comparison. Exports to Uzbekistan amounted to 0.28% of Azerbaijan’s total exports.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported products worth 411 million 559 thousand US dollars from Uzbekistan. This means a 2.5-fold increase annually. In 10 months, imports from Uzbekistan made up 2.14% of Azerbaijan’s total imports.
