Azerbaijan's ACG produced 586 million tons of oil so far

The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields have produced 631 million tons of oil (including condensate) since their commissioning till 1 February 2024, the Ministry of Energy told APA.

According to the ministry, during the reporting period, 586 million tons of oil were extracted from ACG, while almost 45 million tons were condensed from Shah Deniz.

Till 1 February 2024, 629 million tons of it was transported for export.​​

Azerbaijan produced 2,5 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January of 2024. Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 1,4 million tons of oil produced in the republic while Shah Deniz for 0,4 million tons (condensate) and Absheron for 50 thousand tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 0,7 million tons (including condensate).

“For a month, 2,1 million tons of oil (including condensate) was transported for export. 1,8 million tons of its shares fell on the consortium and 0,3 million tons of it fell to SOCAR,” was noted in the information.
