Azerbaijan has imported 299 952,06 tons of vehicle gasoline which amount $ 328 049,47 thousand in 2022, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
According to the calculations APA-Economics made, compared to the indicator of 2021, gasoline import increased by 2,8 times in terms of value and by 93.4% in terms of volume.
According the information, major part of the fuel that Azerbaijan imported is AI-95.
In addition, Azerbaijan imported 99,490.98 tons (32.5% decrease) of "AI-95" ("Premium") brand from abroad worth $102,540.18 thousand (7.7% decrease) and 1,670.95 tons (37.7% decrease) of "AI-98" ("Super") brand $2,052.49 thousand (14.3% decrease) automobile gasoline in the previous year.
Reminding that oil in Azerbaijan is processed in Baku Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev which had been established in 1953.
