According to operational data for January–November 2024, Azerbaijan produced 26.5 million tons of oil (including condensate), the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.
Of the total production, 15.4 million tons were from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 3.8 million tons (condensate) from the Shah Deniz field, and 0.52 million tons (condensate) from the Absheron field. SOCAR’s oil production (including condensate) amounted to 6.8 million tons.
During the 11 months, 22.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported, with 19.2 million tons attributed to consortiums and 3 million tons to SOCAR. Oil refining in January–November 2024 reached 5.5 million tons.
The Ministry also noted that in November, the country's average daily oil production stood at 80,771 tons, of which 65,885 tons (486,000 barrels) accounted for crude oil and 14,886 tons for condensate.
